Kelly's Bio

In 2009, Kelly joined forces with Paul at the inception of BT Improv. Initially working as a writer and researcher, she played a key role in getting the company off the ground. As the business evolved and Paul began speaking publicly in 2012, Kelly transitioned into leading the company’s marketing efforts and helping shape its voice and growth.

In addition to her work behind the scenes, Kelly developed her own speaking career, delivering engaging presentations at respected institutions including Vanguard, Robinson Bradshaw Law Firm, Leadership Charlotte, Duke Energy, ASC, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Her talks often center on communication, collaboration, and creative thinking—blending humor, insight, and real-world application.

Outside of BT Improv, Kelly also runs Briarcliff Hall, their SAT prep school. There, she has tutored thousands of students in both math and English, helping them prepare for college entrance exams with clarity, confidence, and a personal approach that brings results.

Whether she’s speaking on stage or mentoring one-on-one, Kelly brings a deep commitment to education, connection, and inspiring others to think a little differently.
